Peter has 24 years sales and management experience in the insurance industry – and is the owner of Wallin Insurance Agency in Elmira New York, which he started in 1998. As a small business owner he has earned the Numerous Business of the Year awards from the Chemung County Chamber of Commerce and the F.W. Hirt Quality Agent Award from Erie Insurance Company.
He is a graduate of Binghamton University and earned his Masters degree in Insurance Management.
He is involved in the community, serving as President of Chemung Sunrise Rotary Club & Meals on Wheels. He is also the current Chairperson of the United Way of the Southern Tier.
He has written and published 2 books:
1)“In Pursuit of Business,” designed to help small business owners SELL MORE, GROW MORE, EARN MORE and LIVE MORE.
2) “Living the Dream…The 4 Pillars to Life Mastery” just released this Spring – to help live a balanced life and give back to the community
Peter is married to wife Marilyn. They have 3 children and live in Horseheads, NY
